April 9th 2020
Dear HealthWorks Member,
Effective April 10, 2020 we are freezing all HealthWorks Fitness Center (HWFC) membership accounts until further notice. You will not receive a membership dues invoice from us and no funds will be drafted from your financial institution or charged to your credit card on file. During these unprecedented times, things are fluid and constantly changing.
HWFC is an agency of SHARE Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit. HWFC has been greatly impacted by this recent pandemic. Many of our programs and services are sustained by the generosity of our community. If you would like to continue supporting us during this time of closure, please go to https://healthworksfitnesscenter.com/fundraising/page.html to make an on-line donation, or mail donations to: 304 N Madison Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730. If you have any questions, please email HWFCMembership@sharefoundation.com.
Stay Healthy,
Richard Reeves
V.P. of Community Health

We appreciate your patience and understanding and apologize for the inconvenience. So many are being affected by Covid-19 and this is a tough time for all.

March 24, 2020
To All HealthWorks Fitness Members,
As you know, due to the Governor’s mandate to close all gyms across the state, HealthWorks Fitness Center closed last Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 5 pm. We care about our members and realize you will have questions concerning your membership fees and our services during this time. Please know we are doing our best to make decisions and keep everyone informed. Currently, we are retaining several HWFCemployees in order to provide the most amount of servicespossible during this time, such as virtual programming and curbside food service from our Juice Bar. We will continue to keep the facility sanitized and clean, as well as other necessary functions.
As a valued member, we want to provide options that you can choose from. HealthWorks Fitness Center is an agency of SHARE Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit. With nearly 3,700members, 7.75% are physician referred scholarships (Assistance Program memberships) at no cost to the member. While we are happy to provide this service to our community, it greatly impacts us financially. Because of this we are providing an opportunity for you to help us during this uncertain time by choosing one of the following options:
Option A:
Continue making monthly payments to HWFC and whatever amount is paid during this time of temporary closing will be converted into a tax deductible charitable contribution and SHARE Foundation will provide you with a donation acknowledgement after we re-open. This does not include the services below that will be frozen or cancelled. You don’t have to do anything at this time if you choose this option.
Option B:
You can choose to freeze your membership account and monthly dues will be stopped until we are open to the public again. This date may be subject to change based on the Arkansas Covid-19 state ban. Please contact HWFC if you wish to freeze your membership.
Services already purchased will be honored and extended toDecember 31, 2020 and include:
• Private Personal Training
• Small Group Personal Training
*** Any service purchased in the “per session” format has its own expiration date for how long that purchased service can be used. Typically those sessions will not expire for a year after the purchase has been made. This means that the service can be used at any point during that year period that they are purchased. ***
The following recurring services and/or service only accounts will be given a freeze status until further notice:
• Team Training: XTS and Barre
• Locker Fees
• Rock Steady Boxing (RSB)
• SOO BAHK DO
Swim Team (ALL groups/types- black and gold) will be cancelled as of this week, 03/24/2020 until further notice.
Please know that SHARE Foundation and HealthWorks Fitness Center cares a great deal about your health and wellness. Making these decisions during such an uncertain time is difficult for everyone. We will do our best to keep you informed of changes as they occur and we look forward to reopening our doors. Until then, please take advantage of our virtual training classes via social media.
Thank you for being a valued member and friend. From all of us at SHARE Foundation and HealthWorks Fitness Center, we wish you good health for the days to come. Should you have any concerns or need more information regarding this notice, please email us @ HWFCMembership@sharefoundation.com.
Sincerely,
Richard A. Reeves, VP of Community Health
