
Guest fees are $7.00 if a member is present and $10.00 if there is not a member present.
Fees are not discounted or waived without a pass or prior approval from a Director, unless there is just cause. If so, please state reason on waiver and sign.
All guests under the age of 18 must have an adult (18 or older) present during their visit to the facility.
Adult must sign consent AND must stay on the premises during guests visit. All areas of the waiver need to be filled out completely!
Any guest found to be unaccompanied by an adult at any time during their visit will be asked to call a parent and will be asked to leave the facility.
If guest is found to be unaccompanied more than once, HealthWorks Fitness Center will revoke all guest privileges.
Guests ages 8 to 14 who complete an orientation are allowed to use the cardio equipment BEFORE 5 p.m. Mon- Fri and all day SAT & SUN – UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
During recreational swim, parents/guardians may bring guests (ages 9-14) to the lifeguard to administer a swim test during each visit. If they do not pass or are under 9 years old, Parent/Guardian MUST remain in the pool area. For those who pass the swim test and are 9-14 years old, parents MUST remain in the facility.
Children of Guests may use the nursery. Normal fees and rules apply.
All guests are expected to obey all Fitness Center’s rules and regulations. Disobeying rules will result in dismissal from the Center and all guest privileges revoked.
Each guest is allowed 7 visits per year. Thereafter, they will need to join the facility. The only exception to this rule are those living outside a 40 mile radius.
Members who sign guests in are also responsible for the conduct of the guest during their visit.
Each guest is allowed full use of the Fitness Center. They have access to group exercise classes, the Aquatics Center and the fitness floor.
If assistance with machines is needed, please see one of the staff members on the fitness floor.
Guests are not eligible for an assessment.
Bathers must shower before entering the pool.
Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult. Children 9-14 must pass a swim test to be in pool unsupervised.
Food and drinks prohibited in the pool area.
No running, pushing, shoving, fighting or horse playing allowed.
Proper swimming attire is required (no cutoffs, street clothes or street shoes.)
Swim diapers are required for children wearing diapers.
Only HFC tubes or lifejackets are permitted.
Lazy River Rules
Enter and exit the river through the center of the therapy pool.
No sitting, standing or jumping on the walls of the lazy river.
Water walking is permitted – Inside lane walk with the current – outside lane walk against the current.
Diving Board Rules
One person on the board at a time.
Divers must wait until the diver in front of them has reached the side of the pool. All divers should surface and swim to the side of the pool immediately. Only one bounce is permitted per dive.
Lap Swimming
Continuous swimming is required. (lap lanes are for lap swimmers only)
No hanging on the lane ropes.
When there are three or more swimmers in a lane please swim in a counter clockwise circle.
Be courteous and inform the other swimmer if you are entering a lane that is occupied.
Do not stop in the middle of a lane.
*After summer concludes (August), the slide will remain off until 1:00 p.m. to allow our lap swimmers to utilize their lunch hour to swim.
The starter blocks are to be used for swim team members and those swimmers working with instructors.
Slide Rules
All riders must ride feet first while lying on their back no sitting up while riding the slide.
Maximum rider weight 300 pounds.
Do not pull or propel yourself into the ride.
No combs or foreign objects are allowed in pockets and no jewelry can be worn whole riding the slide.
A single file line should form on the deck with one rider at the middle landing and one rider at the top landing wait until the person at the top has entered the slide before proceeding to the next level. (For each slide)
Only one rider at a time. Absolutely no trains or chains of riders are permitted.
No tubes are permitted on the water slide.
Pregnant women or individuals with heart or back conditions should not use the slide.
No standing, kneeling, rotating, tumbling or stopping in the flume.
Leave the pool by designated ladders immediately after exiting the slide.
Non-swimmers are only permitted if
wearing a HFC lifejacket.
WARNING: WATER DEPTH IS 4 FEET.
NOTICE: FAILURE TO FOLLOW RULES CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY AND WILL CAUSE REMOVAL FROM THE POOL.
All riders must be at least 48” tall.
HealthWorks is please to provide you and your child with our KidWorks facilities. Our trained and caring staff will do everything possible to make your child feel comfortable and happy while you are using the HFC. We ask that you carefully read this information and follow all guidelines in order for us to provide a secure and healthy environment.
Who can use KidWorks?
If you are an HFC member, you are encouraged to use KidWorks for your children. If your children are listed as members of HFC, there will be no additional charge for KidWorks. We have a comfortable and bright play area, cribs for napping and a convenient bathroom inside the KidWorks area. We also have a recent addition of a fenced playground area. Even though we provide safe and enjoyable toys and activities, your child may bring his/her own favorite toy(s). The toys from home must be approved by the KidWorks staff and be clearly labeled with the child’s name in order to be brought into the KidWorks area. We are not responsible for loss or damage to any items brought from home.
KidWorks Policies:
(ages 3 months – 9 years)
KidWorks is available for all children between the ages of three months to nine years. Children over nine years will not be accepted in the KidWorks area. In case of an emergency, parents are asked not to leave the premises when their child is in KidWorks. All children must be signed in and out by the parent and any special care information is to be on file for the KidWorks attendants. Guests of members may use KidWorks on a space available basis only, paying the fee set by management.

KidWorks Prices:
$3.00 per hour for first child
$2.00 per hour for each additional child up to 3 children
Please pick up your children promptly. Fifteen minutes into an additional hour will result in being charged for the entire hour.

Food Policy
Snacks are acceptable but full meals will not be served. All drinks brought into the KidWorks area must be in labeled containers with lids. Please make sure your child is adequately fed prior to bringing him/her to the center. Chewing gum is not allowed in KidWorks.
Diaper Changes
Please supply your own diapers in a name-labeled bag. You may also wish to bring a change of clothes for your child.
Emergency Care
In the event of an emergency, every effort will be made to locate you in the club. However, to make this process more efficient, please remember to specify on the sign-in/sign-out sheet where you will be in the club. In the case of a fire all children will be evacuated through the safest exit.
Sick Child Policy
In order to maintain a clean and healthy environment for all children we ask that you refrain from bringing your child to KidWorks if he/she is sick and/or displaying signs of illness which may include:
- A cold
- Fever of 100 degrees or more within the past 24 hours
- Constant cough
- First 24 hours on an antibiotic
- Diarrhea (when not on antibiotics)
- Displaying abnormal disposition
- Rashes
- Chicken Pox (Child cannot return until 14 days after break out)
For Your Child's Protection
Children will only be released to parents or a designated guardian as specified on the Information sheet or sign-in sheet. Children must be directly supervised by a parent or checked in to the KidWorks area while at the Center.
Upon entering KidWorks, please check in your child by filling out the sign-in sheet. If a person other than yourself is picking up your child it must be indicated on the sheet. When you or another authorized person picks up your child you must sign the child out on the sign in/out sheet. No children are allowed in the KidWorks area unattended. Staff must be present.

As a courtesy to our instructors and the other class participants, please turn off all cell phones before entering any of the studios.
Please arrive early for class in order to set up steps, bikes, equipment, mats, etc. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we encourage you to please attend the next available class.
Aquacise/Arthritis dress code: a swimsuit MUST be worn in the pool. Swim clothing may be acceptable if they are made of polyester, nylon, spandex t-shirts are permitted, water shoes are preferred. No buttons, no frayed material, no jeans, no sweats, no street shoes.
Please wear clothing/shoes appropriate for the class. Street shoes are not allowed.
The following are recommended, but not required:
Spinning: Bike Shorts or shorts, cycling shoes with SPD compatible clips or tennis shoes with the strings tucked in.
Yoga/Pilates: snug fitting tops and pants such as yoga pants or jogging pants. No shoes are worn in the classes.
Others: Good fitting, comfortable clothing and tennis shoes.
Sports Bras are permitted to be worn in class only. They are not allowed in other areas of the facility without a shirt.
In an effort to extend the life of our studios, we ask that no food or drink other than bottled water be brought into the studios.
All electronic equipment is intended for instructor use only.
The Studios are specifically for scheduled classes and/or programs; any other use of the studios must be approved by and scheduled through the Group Exercise Coordinator.
Children ages 13 & 14 may participate in group exercise classes with a parent/guardian 18 or older. Ages 15 and up may participate without adult supervision.
HFC is not responsible for any personal items that may become lost, damaged or stolen. Storage cubbies are available in Studio One for use during class time only! Any items left at the end of the day can be claimed at the Lost and Found.
In order to prolong the life of our equipment and for sanitation purposes, we require all class participants to clean and disinfect equipment after use. Paper towels and cleaner are provided in each studio.
Fitness Floor
We at HFC are proud to bring you the most state of the art equipment in the fitness industry. Our trained and certified staff will do everything possible to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. We ask that you carefully read this information and follow all guidelines.
No sagging shorts or pants are permitted on the facility premises.
Proper language is required at all time on the facility premises. No swearing, yelling, or obscene gestures will be tolerated.
All persons using the Fitness Floor are required to be fully clothed. T-shirts, tank tops, muscle shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, or pants must be worn on the Fitness Floor.
In an effort to protect your feet and to prevent slipping all participants using the Fitness Floor are required to wear athletic shoes. Flip-flops, sandals, slip-on, dress shoes, work boots or aqua shoes will not be permitted on the fitness center.
Children ages 7 and under are not allowed on the Fitness Floor at any time. Children ages 8-14 are allowed to use the cardio equipment Monday thru Friday before 5 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian (18 years or older). An equipment orientation with a qualified staff member must be completed prior to using the equipment. Adults have priority on all cardiovascular equipment. No negligent play will be allowed or tolerated on the Cardio area.
Due to the advance nature of the weight equipment, children must be 13 years of age to use the equipment. Children between the ages of 13-14 must have a parent or legal guardian on the premises at all times. Children must be 15 years of age or older to be left alone on the Center property.
Children ages 12 and under are not allowed in the weight area. Small babies in infant carriers are not allowed on the Fitness Floor. No negligent play will be allowed or tolerated in the weight area.
An adult must accompany children under 15, when in the fitness area.
For sanitary reasons, we ask that you clean your cardio equipment after use. There is disinfectant and the paper towels provided by the fitness center staff.
We ask that you return all equipment back in its rightful place when you are finished with your workout.
